I don’t know how I am going to make it through the holidays.

We have no jobs and no prospect of income. I have had two deaths in my immediate
family within 1 month and in general life sucks. How do I keep my chin up!!!!!!!

Know this…you’re not alone.

There’s no easy answer to “how to keep your chin up”, but if I have to make an attempt - if you want to keep your chin up, it will happen.

If you drop your chin, you’re going to walk into a street sign and wished you had kept your chin up.

Yes I’m lame - at least I made an attempt.

its sounds like is really rough time. Its obviously going to take time to feel better about the whole situation specially since you lost loved ones. Know that it is ok to feel down and be sad. An old friend told me once “its going to hurt, and its not going to get better for a while, but it will get better”. You have gone through hard times so you have to pick up all the little peaces and do whatever you have to do to make things better. There are many thing you have no control over, like losing your loved ones, but there are many thing where you can do something to change the situation.

Sorry to hear that life is so difficult right now. Remember that everything changes and you won’t be in this difficult space forever. You can accept the circumstances as they are at the moment and make an effort to change what you can for the better. Sometimes fighting the things that can’t be changed makes our lives the hardest.

Like azrael242 said, you aren’t alone. Everyone struggles at times and we are all in this together. I’ll send some positive thoughts and energy your way.
