Going to USA, what places are worth seeing (around connecticut)?

There’s NY of course, and on that topic, I know NY is one of the biggest citys in the world… but other then the statue and the rockefeller center, where else should I go, when I’m there? I’m into everything.

And what about the other states and citys? I’m obviously going to Whashington. But what about Philadelphia? Is it worth travling there? What about Massachussetts and Rhode Island?

Anything around CT, and doesn’t even need to be THAT close.

What are you guys suggestions ?

Thanks

im in Connecticut. In Meriden there is a castle. Its wicked cool, seeing as I havent ever seen one before. The XL center in Hartford is cool, and Old Sturbridge is cool to see too if your into old things. Though Go to hartford, its huge and you should be able to find something there. Or google it. I like Conn, though at the moment it is cold and there are no leaves on the trees. There is also a 6flags here!

I do suggest NH though you cant see the old man anymore (he fell off a couple of years ago) there is a few places there. Weirs Beach is nice, fun in the summer. Laconia is beautiful, like wicked pretty. So is Franconia Notch. They have a little spring there that you can actually drink from and its cold too! Hmmm… In Concord, there is a little candy shop that makes the MOST DELISHIOUS CANDY EVER! Its called the Granite State Candy Shoppe. Chocolate, truffles and even huuuuge lollypops! Seriously, you gotta get something from there. DONT GO TO MANCHESTER! Its a terrible place, everyone there are jerks…

Good luck though! Enjoy New England! :D

By washington do you mean Washington, DC?

If so, go to the national mall and see all the monuments. If you know anyone in the area, go with them at night. Don’t go alone at night! See the white house, capitol, and there are tons of cool museums there. the Mint is where they make money, museum of natural history is really interesting, they’re all free! the national cathedral is also really beautiful, even if you’re not christian.
At night if you want to party, check out a concert at the 9:30 Club. it’s usually pretty good, but around $20. There are also some interesting bars in georgetown.

have fun!

Everyone forgot about MASS! What about Boston?! Salem? Yes Sturbridge is VERY cool, fun place to go, but Boston is an amazing city, SO much to do. Then there is Salem, THE HISTORY its amazing, considering i live in this area there is so much, I’m from CT and moved to mass, there is a lot around there. If you’re into the College Scene Uconn is great, as is UMASS Amherst. There is so much to do in New England. Vermont has some amazing things, The VT Teddy Bear Factory, BEN AND JERRY”S, there are SO many things in New England that are awesome, if you want anything else just ask, i’m a wealth of info here.

The North End of Boston is the rich area, STAY AWAY FROM SOUTHIE, the south end, there isn’t much there, and its the high crime zone. But the North End of Boston has SO much there, AMAZING food, great little shops, and an amazing night life. But make sure you bring A LOT of money.
