What you focus on expands.

It is regardless if it is negative or positive. If you focus on negative than that is what you will recieve. Focus on the negative and life will get worse. If you focus on positive than that is what you will recieve. Focus on the positive and life will get better. This is not an overnight solution, this is a life solution. If you focus on the good you will see a difference within a month to a year. Do not dwell on the negativity of the past or your past events. Focus on what is good for you moving forward and focus on the good of the future that you can bring to yourself and others surrounding you.

This is certainly true to a certain extent. Like the more you think about suicide, for instance, the more suicidal you will become.

For some situations, however it is not the case. Such as a messy kitchen. You need to focus on that to clean up!

Also a certain situation may call for attention in that you may need to decide what steps to take to remedy the situation. Like an abusive boyfriend, for instance.

No. Actually some problems/issues you NEED to focus on in order to properly address the issue and take steps to resolve the problem. It’s not like if you ignore a messy kitchen it will go away!!!
