you have no dreams or aspirations?

have you looked for any other job at all? it sucks not knowing what it is you want to do. it might be helpful to at least pick something you think you might like better. If you are unhappy with just you and the boss, you should maybe look for a job where there are more employees. and outside of work, do anything and everything enjoyable and don’t think about work at all.

Its the worst time to be out of a job so I say stay with it till something else better comes along or until you find something better.Thats always best anyway but especially now

have you thought about going into a technical school? it’s a lot cheaper than college and they have counselors who can help you get a job once you graduate.

no lol they have all kinds of programs you can take, the one I went to had courses for engines, electronics, medical and dental assistant, nutrition, nursing,graphic arts, drafting and design, business, etc.

well, knowing what you want to do, and actually finding a job in the field are two different beasts. I want to be a graphic artist and went to school for it, but I can’t get hired anywhere cause I need 5+ years of experience somewhere first… if I lived in a big city, I’d have no problem finding a job.

I’ve always loved to create things like poetry and drawings, but didn’t even know the job existed until I went to a sort of field trip there with my school.
before that, I had no idea what I wanted to do, but like I said, It’s pretty much hopeless for me to get a foot in the industry, wish i’d have known that before I spent tuition on it. so now I’m not sure what to do. I got fired from a job in retail hell recently cause of cut backs so I’m kinda looking for a new job right now…

its good! at least you have an income, even if you hate your job.
at least you can do fun stuff you like on your spare time.
My family’s theory on working is it’s now supposed to be fun. That’s why its called “work”. But I would go insane if I had a job I hated. i.e. standing on an assembly line doing the same thing over and over again for barely minimum wage or something like that. :)

yeah, ok, I’ll do a job I hate if I’m desperate as long as it’s not repetative, I guess I should put it that way.
honestly as for plans, I’ve given up even trying to find a job until after the holidays cause all the family stuff has got me so busy and distracted right now. after the holidays, I just hope and pray I’ll find something before my money runs out.

well, I was hoping to get my basics out of the way at a community college: math, history, etc. so I could then get an associates degree in something, but to file for financial aid or even apply at a college I’d need my ACT test scores, which my idiot high school lost lol. so right now I’m just going to try to get a job and see what the future and maybe God holds for me for a while.

the basics are just the bare minimum classes you need to get an associates degree in just about any field. an associates degree is just the most basic of degrees, but at least it proves what you know what your doing. :)
as for school, the only subjects I liked were art and english, and maybe a little science. Hated Math and was in a mild coma for the rest of my classes. lol

i got detention once, kinda scary lol all the people were like ex cons and some were trying to tear their skin off cause they were all high and stuff. Some guy asked me to be his penguin slipper…whatever that is lol.
I’m pretty sure my cat is possesed or bipolar or something. She’ll let me pet her one second, and then go all evil and claw at me. She also prefers bird seed to catnip. strange cat!

its a little after 2pm here. didn’t do a whole lot, all I have is family to hang out with right now cause my friends all abandoned me over some stupid rumor and aren’t likely to speak to me again. kinda pathetic right now really lol.
