Find help: My computer keeps asking me to press F1 because it failed to - Help.com

My computer keeps asking me to press F1 because it failed to find the floppy disk controller, even though I don’t have a floppy drive installed.

I’ve already changed my boot sequence dozens of times, but I still receive the same message

press f1 usually is to reveal the ‘help’ window, usually for finding explanation to some error code

Did you check the BIOS settings? My guess is that it is setup like if there is a floppy drive.

Turn off ‘halt on all errors’.

Or if you can - disable floppy drive(s).
