i have 4 kids one is 11 he has a mouth like a sewer at the moment…

i don’t know what to do…every time he swears i send him to his bedroom but that doesn’t seem to be working….i nearly hit him tonight i am at the end of my tether!!! he just seems so angry with his siblings and me. it might be his age but idont know how much more i can take!!!

Have you tried taking stuff away besides just sending him to his room? If he has a video game system or some toy that he really likes after you warn him tell him if he continues he will lose one of his toys or something along those lines.

children are spoiled red rotton nowadays, they need thier @$$es kicked every now and then. Especaily at that age. Just my thought, im 17 and i still remember myself cursin like a sailor at my dad until one day he took a belt to my @$$ and guess what? i never cussed in front of him again. :]

go and wash his mouth out with Chocolate it my work.No jokes aside best thing is to buy them an X Box or if he has one already take it away from him if he starts swearing.The only way to stop his behavior is bribe.Forget trying to hit him you only hurt yourself..

i think the hardest thing is i am a single parent and have to do it alone..(just feeling sorry for myself..sorry)!!i also have an autistic son a year younger and he swears too. part of me thinks its for attention coz most of my time is spent dealing with his brother. i try to spend time with all of them but it just gets so frustrating. All i want to do is scream!!!They were all in bed by 7 last night. and i went not long after. thanks for all the support!!
