Love is not a feeling.

Love is two people helping each other, respecting each other, doing everything they can to help each other reach their goals. It’s mutual respect and admiration and feeling lucky about it.

It’s not simply attraction or lust.

It’s also not comfort. If he’s like an old pair of slippers that are comfortable, or a smelly old dog that is a good companion but a lousy dog, then it’s time to move on.
