Person help: okay…so what do you do when a random person adds you on myspace and wants to talk to you? - Help.com

okay…

so what do you do when a random person adds you on myspace and wants to talk to you? He seems like he’s a legit person, not like an internet creep or anything like that. And he lives around the same area as I do. I just don’t know if I should actually say anything to him or not. I don’t see how it could hurt…
Please tell me what you think

Problems with Myspace.com, Friendster or Bebo.com?

Generally speaking, if you are having issues with those sites it is best to contact their support staff directly. These links can get you started:

Myspace Support, Friendster Support and Bebo Support

If you are trying to access these services from your school and are blocked, we suggest you abide by the schools rules while you utilize the schools equipment.

Generally speaking, meeting someone that you don’t know on an Internet site is a bad idea.

However, it could be OK to chat with someone while on line, as long as you don’t give out any specific information about you (phone #, address…)

it’s obviously not a big deal to talk to people on myspace,
even if you don’t know them.
just don’t go meeting them anywhere, because that could be pretty shady.
but yeah, not a big deal…that’s pretty much the point of myspace.

You talk to them (:
It’s always fun to talk to new people.
I love when randoms add me!
It’s not like talking to them online is the same as meeting them in person.
So yeh. Talk :]
