HELLLLP…

I built a lightbox to use on stage while performing.
I used regular wood and built a box with 3 floodlights separated by 3 wood panels. I screwed plexiglass on the top and all together it looks really nice.

Until i turned it on, and found that after about 15 min, the plexiglass started warping…How can i stop this from happening and is there another alternative to the plexiglass..
was it a dumb idea alltogether??

I’m coming up with this off the top of my head and its probably not worth anything but whatever. You might be able to paint the inside with heat dispersing/resistant paint or line the inside with some heat dispersing/resistant material. Or cut holes or vents to allow the heat to escape. And depending on the set up you might be able to get some type of reflective material, like lets say tin foil and direct the light out. IDK if any of that would work but it sounds good lol. Good luck with your project.
