oh, first chapter allright. u could try getting the others to 7. anyways, since u say, u rewrote the first chapter twice, dont change it unless there’s sumthing real bad.

try getting in a nice suspense full prologue

I have a short, two page prologue before that.

Depends on font size and how interesting it is. Typically, it should be about 10 pages per chapter.

As long as you can run with it, the main character can get shot in the second chapter.

Dont revise until you finish. If you fix it up too much along the way, you are unlikely to finish.

Times New Roman, font size 12. Regular size page.

I got stuck, and I didn’t like the way it was going, so I just redid some of it.

A page is usually 1000 words or so, based on 1 page of word processing in Microsoft Word.
