Accessing internet via another PC…

I have 2 PC’s, one connected to the other PC, the other PC connected to a router, can I access the internet via the other PC?

Why would you do that when you can connect directly through the router? Connecting through another pc will slow down you connection speed. Hope this helps :-)

I don’t have a wireless card or anymore wires to connect the other PC to the router.

Which kind of cable are you using? A USB?

Am I missing something? I was under the impression that LAN cables were the same as Internet cables. Category 5/5e?

All Ethernet cables are cat5 or 6 and they plug into the back of your pc using the port that looks like a phone cord jack. You can buy them at any pc store or walmart, office max, staples. They also come in any length that you need. Your router should have at least 4 ports to plug into so there should be no problem hooking up two pc’s.
