computer help: After a sudden high voltage my computer came on with some kind - Help.com

After a sudden high voltage my computer came on with some kind of noise and display some file are missing in c/windows/…

……., I try by putting it off and on several times but it comes up with sane problem, so at a time i hit the reset button the computer go off and refuse to come on since then, i open it cover and notice there is no even sign off power cos the mother board light is not even on, pls i need a help

You may have to buy a new motherboard (if this is true), but it may be cheaper and easier to buy a new one. Sorry about your computer.

It also could be your power supply is burned out. I would check that first then see if its your motherboard. Hope this helps :-)
