absolutely.
Cool…love that! Thanks Lil!
Always gives me such a wonderful and sometimes somber feeling, a soft loving, wistful memory, thanks Lili for bringing me there. It was a sweet memory of running thoughts and faces…

You are welcome. Something brought me back in time. Glad to share it with you…
I wanted to look at some old photographs. But it might make me a little sad knowing i could not back back time. But happy that they still linger in my memory. :)
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
thank you :)
Bright blessings ~ Richard
Old Things are More Beautiful
(Clay Harrison)
Old things are more beautiful
than many things brand new
Because they bring fond memories
of things we used to do.
Old photographs in albums,
love letters tied with lace
Recapture those old feelings
that new ones can’t replace.
Baby shoes, a Teddy bear,
a ring that grandma wore,
Are treasures waiting there behind
a door marked “Nevermore”.
Old things are more beautiful,
more precious day-by-day.
Because they are the flowers
we planted yesterday.
thanks Lilies, this seems to be what my life is all about right now - I’m sorting through old stuff, clearing things out to get ready for a move. It’s “sobering.”

I hope you are doing great with the moving thing. It would be a pain the head at some point but always a good source to take a look at the old stuff where memories grow. :)

So i was looking at some college pictures… when the days were a lot younger.
Those Were the Days
(Recorded in the early 70’s by Mary Hopkins)
Those were the days my friend
We thought they’d never end
We’d sing and dance forever and a day
We’d live the life we choose
We’d fight and never lose
For we were young and sure to have our way.
Those were the days,
oh yes, those were the days.
Thanks, I am always trying to forget the past and look ahead. When I do look back I realize the past is how I got here, and what has made me :)

Yes that is right. I don’t have regrets really and everything that happened before made me what i am today–a strong one, capable of facing more than i thought i can. But sometimes i sit down and remember how it was before, the people i met that i could not hold anymore.
Yesterday i had met with old friends from college years and we all looked back on those younger days. We sure had fun and we said ‘i wish i could back on those days when life was easier’.
awwwwwe,

Rammmblinnngggg Mannn! thank you but miss you around here. :))
OMG I loved that song when I was a kid. Trust JWL to put so much feeling into so few words
Love is a river that flows thru the finery of my frajile soul
engulfing the trajic with an upheavel of tremendous transcendent force
magnificant and direct in short awesome almost euphoric even exotic an enlightenment instant without question
realms beit states of conscious awareness of a higher pathway or order
the conquering of fears and unnamed memories that dare torment the inner sanctuaries and upset the balance of peace and power in the body of my heavenly house must submit ,lay arms and mingle with the citizens of my metropolis citystate whom frequent the highways and backroads of my minds matrix in an ubiquitous universal allignment of thought that i may praise the majestic upon completion and witness
the interludes neccesarily pleasant upon contemplation the species specimen or spectater will be nothing short of brilliantly fantastically headstruck worst case scenario,it is a lovely thought to dwell an allure
even mesmerize me and hypnotise the world
a sweet melody to fall asleep upon
my hammock cradle sways gently and easy on the branch of this lonely old twisted tree forgotten awhile it seems for now atop some old country hillside estate
hidden
even the grass has covered the earths nakedness and she has clothed me in finer things than this its true praise the order of love for she knows me well
thanks for sharing Lillies
