I need song ideas for a party.

It’s my church’s annual Christmas ball in less than a month and I said I’d do the music.. I’ve not started, no.
Getting it is no problem so feel free to suggest anything you like.
Keep it clean! It’s my CHURCH’s ball, so songs full of swearing and/or all about sex with not be considered seriously…
And they want it Christmassy, obviously, though I hate cheesy, cheesy songs. Which is why I’m struggling… broaden my horizons already!

Alexz Johnson and Skye Sweetnam might be good, and Switchfoot has some good stuff and they’re actually a Christian rock group.

You could mix them with some Christmas music. Lots of artists have done Christmas CDs.

Prom / disco, yeah. Upbeat songs for the groups of friends who are just having a laugh with the odd slow one for the couples XD
Switchfoot is a good idea, problem is I’ve never listened to any of their stuff; do you know what song might be good for a ball?

Learning to Breathe and New Way to Be Human, those are the CDs I have that I like, and I Dare You to Move is really good.

Check out Alexz Johnson and Skye Sweetnam, they’re really good and fun and nothing’s really unobjectable (if that’s a word.)
