How very Confusing.

this is a riddle post. once my riddle has been solved the person who solved it (and i mean the only ONE person) who solved it may post a riddle.

A Bird And His Tree.

There are two birds in a tree, i then see the male bird fly away leaving the female in the tree. there is only one bird in the tree now. i look down at the floor for a few minutes to find when i look up at the same tree there are two birds, on it.

Why is this ???

the female bird that was left in the tree gave birth to a bird and so now i see two birds in the tree. the mother and her chick
