I’m trying to think of a title for my story!

Any interesting ideas atall would be inspiring, no matter how off topic, i just need a kick start at thinking of somthing.

The story is about a guy who to begin with lives in a semi-broken family and because of this he begins to go slightly mental in the head. He secretly battles between reality and his mind and after being controlled by the state of mentallity he manages to calculate and link things togther. Whilst looking back through his own notes, seemingly obsurd perceptions and his own instructions written during the times of mental unstability, they seem to make sense and thus he begins on a journey following these apparent instructions. But this is only the begining and he ends up very deeply involved in a secret experiement that has actually been running even before people walked the earth…

But yea, any suggestions atall would be fantastic! (the story isnt finished yet, i’d just like to be able to call it somthing that sounds interesting other than Untiled Word Document 3)

Are you looking for information on uploading an avatar or why you aren’t recieving notices on tags you’re subscribed too?

Unfortunately both of these features have been disabled until further notice. Looks like you’ll have to stick with your “letter of the alphabet” avatar. You can also Contact us with any other issues you have.

What I found out works is to finish writing it first, then work on the title.

Writing the title last is definitely the way to go, although a working title can be helpful.

Does your story involve any special vocabulary or terminology that might work? Even a private word used by one of the characters would work (maybe something from the crazy-seeming notes). That often makes for a distinguishing and memorable title, captures an important idea from the story, and doesn’t give away much to the reader before they read the story.

I have yet to come up with a title for anything I’ve written, so usually what I’ll do is just call it my main character’s first name.
