it could be positive or negative. i already have -obesity, and you save money but supply and demand increasing the food you get for a lower price. what other things come from the popularity of fast food restaurants?

jobs- there are generally fast food restaurants in every town, offering jobs that you don’t need a diploma for. they’re also very popular with immigrants.
convenience- again, one in every town, you get your food pretty fast, some have drive thrus, they’re sort of cheap.
obesity- very fattening, high caloric foods. the meat is low grade because that’s cheaper. all sorts of preservatives thrown in there. have you ever noticed how the food is always HOT? it tastes horrible when it’s cold!

you could also talk about how the new trend of organic food and low-calorie stuff has made places add salads, grilled meats, vegetarian options, etc.
