advice help: When I try to shoot up I can’t get the needle in the vein. - Help.com

dont listen to da haters it sounds like your amping your self out mate,
pressure is another thing that will affect nyour ability to hit the vein.

sounds like what happened to me when i first tried doing that. No matter what, i couldnt hit the vein and it frusturated me to the point of breaking my needle in half and throwing it into the middle of my street. I asked every junky i knew I even had one sit in and watch me do it and he said there wasnt anything i was doing wrong and maybe my veins just roll easily. I think its that I have thick skin so my veins are deeper because if i come in at a 45 degree angle i will never hit a vein.
The only way I could do it would be to come in almost perpendicular (90 degrees) to the vein. I know youre not supposed to do that but its honestly the only way I could get in it and it worked every time. I used the half cc syringe though so its a shorter needle, I didnt try with the full cc. I dont shoot any more but ur post just reminded me of myself and how badly i just wished someone could tell me what to do.
