Wrong help: What’s wrong with me? - Help.com

What’s wrong with me?

is it medical?

Everytime i go to bed i have crazy dreams and i always wake up with a deep gasp for air and shake for about 10-15 seconds.

I don’t know what causes it…anyone got any ideas?i’m clueless.

I’m just curious. Do you have any repeat dreams? If so what are they about?

Make an apt. to enter a sleep clinic. They will be able to tell you exactly what’s going on with you. Good luck :)

Are you eating anything or do you watch T.V right before you go to bed? I read somewhere doing those can make you have more active dreams than normal.

yes, the dreams are very repeditive and usualy pretty graffic. i always know where i am even though i’ve never seen the places before.
Lot’s of unusual dreams like half man half goats or there is one that happens alot with like a cathederal looking building but it’s horrifying and man i can recall so many i wouldn’t know where to start.

i had one nice one though, i went to paradise, the grass was awsome and there were white tigers and birds of crazy colours then i walked untill i found a guy standing there holding a creature that was dying and it’s blood would turn into new creatures as it fell in dropplets. hard to explain but my dreams are always WIERD.

Maybe you did something earlier like watched a movie or something on a show that was science fiction and your mind just thinks of it while you sleep to remind you of it. Or it could be certain food.

Sounds like sleepapnia (if thats how its spelt) my wife has it and I have to keep bumping her awake I am afraid she’ll stop breathing altogether. See a doc, they will send you to a sleep therapist if its required.

Well anyway, they sound like really neat dreams. I hardly ever have vivid dreams anymore, and I miss them a lot. They say you always dream, but usually don’t remember them, but IDK about that. I think my sleep is interrupted too much, so I am not reaching REM. I wonder why it’s so hard to remember dreams anyway. Enjoy your dreams!
