I think that would help the mods out a lot, only for serious users tho, maybe people that have been here a year as opposed to 6 months, but if they abuse it in anyway it gets taken back off them

Or they could make some of the users that have been around for a long time like Mods-light. You know, the one’s who are always hanging around when no one else is.

Definatly, someone that is always going to be on here

Or even people who could work in shifts.

Well, I deal with trolls fine usually, but lately they’ve been ignoring me for some reason. I can’t distract them.

I don’t care about myself, I can handle it, it’s the new users I worry about sometimes, you know?

I saw a post where a new user only had replies from two abusive trolls, and by the time I shouted them, they had left the site, never to return. But being a mod-light wouldn’t help that…

I like the idea of the power myself, but my typing is too lazy.

But what they could maybe do is give them the option to temporarily block a user, but only like three a week or something like that, so that they couldn’t abuse it, you know?

Because I’m pretty sure they aren’t accepting more mods.

That seems strange, whats the expense? Surely it a simple sql script technically, and a case of a few mods vouching for them and a look at their posts. More mods the better? Must be missing something…

I’m not completely sure, but I don’t think they are.
