when using my buddy list scroll bar I can’t scroll down, the bar jumps up to the top when I want to scroll down to another name.

I also have a problem with toolbar, something below it covers my search word in Goggle. HELP PLEASE ! I’m having lots of problems lately. I bought a new mouse because Tech support from HP said it was the mouse but, I’m still having the problem.
