Hard help: Playstation 3. - Help.com

Playstation 3.

Does anybody know anything about hooking an external hard drive up to a PS3? Ours is filling up too fast and we want more space on it instead of having to delete things.

That link tells how to do it, but I’ve never tried it because I don’t have an external HD.

I would have thought it would just like a USB key where you can just plug in into it and use it?

One thing about the USB thing though is that instead of pressing X to go into it, you have to press Triangle and select view all before you can view most data.

plus, if you put an internal HDD in, you can can load a Linux OS onto it and make it double-function as a (email removed) computer
