I have always had a hard time with my emotions and trying to deal with them.

If my Mom wouldn’t have been there to helped me through some of the tough times I’m not sure where I would be. I learned how to deal with my stress by writing poems. It has helped me so much. Now I would like to help people through their tough times. Because some people don’t have that Mom who will truly help them. Or those friends or family members. I enjoy helping people and that’s what I do.

Did you know that men on the whole are taught to ignore their feelings and be numb to their feelings because life is frequently too emotional to bear?

Men can be quite hard and unfeeling for precisely this reason. In fact, a highly effective working man will be able to completely dissassociate from their emotional body whilst working.

What do you think of this?

Thank you for putting that post up. I’ve been dealing with alot over the past 3 years. I’ve gained weight, I’ve turned away from my friends, I’ve stopped going to college because I don’t know what I want to d anymore. It’s tough and I really don’t know how to straighten things out for myself. If you have any advice, I’d love to hear from you. Thank you.

My seven year old daughter has a very hard time dealing with emotions. If someone is sad or mad in a book or tv show, she will turn her head or go in the other room so she doesn’t have to hear. She will not discuss anything that involves feelings with me. I am torn between this is who she is. She keeps feelings and emotions to herself or contacting a child psychologist. Any thoughts? Thank you.
