First, are you doing this to get a grade, or for personal understanding? It could be quite confronting if you let it out of the purely academic part of your head.

Google “the cosmological argument” and have a read. Then share your thinking, or ask any questions you have.

It will also help to do some reading on the differences between faith and religion.

I’m also guessing that your post wants to read ” success or failure OF the cosmological argument”. Is that right?

It’s a can of worms, and surprised you are being asked to do that in the education system. Most philo courses don’t take a side as strong as your given question seems to be.
