my boyfreind broke up wit me and now he started talking to me again…

.wat should i do? should i talk to him or ignore his messages?
he broke up wit me because his mom told him to…..he says dat he still loves me but if he did love me, wouldnt he had stayed wit me even if his mom told him to break up with me?

There’s nothing wrong with being civil toward your ex. If he broke up with you because he didn’t think it could work out romantically, that doesn’t mean he doesn’t still want to know you.
But I agree with Xeno, do what you feel is right for YOU.

How old are the two of you?

Why did he break up with you?

What are you doing with your life right now? School, job, socializing?

When you have a breakup, it’s a great opportunity to re-evaulate yourself. What worked in the relationship, what didn’t, what you would avoid in the future, what you want in the future. Take some notes. I’ve done this. It helps.

Be polite, but focus on expanding your social horizons. Meet new people. Get new experiences. Use this breakup as an opportunity to re-energize yourself and see if you are even still compatible with this guy afterward.
