he stands alone and walks alone, daring not to love,
for each time he has loved, his heart has been a plaything,
a toy for the creatures in this world called women,
so the lone man stays alone,
and tries not to think about how much it hurts

been thinking about this - i think the problem is lots of guys treat women badly giving guys a bad name, which means women treat guys badly back, and being one of the ‘decent guys’ i get the backlash for something i’m not

Look a little deeper though.. The women that aren’t treated badly are stil with him, and still have a great attitude. The ones that are ttreated badly, are the ones us single guys are talking too. So once burned they will be very leery and it’s to be expected, right?
