Ive been taking microgynon (contraceptive pill) for several years now, this month I accidently took the first pill of a new packet two days early.

My period has seemed to have stopped, brown spotting and bleeding stopping almost completely but since then new bright red blood, relativly small amounts, has appeared. Could this be to do with changing pill days or should I go see a doctor right away? never really had any spotting after periods before. Worrying myself with online symptons. Advice really needed!

I dont think its anything to worry about hon, just resume your normal way of taking them asap, if in doubt call your doctor, there may be a nurse there that can advise you over the phone. :-)

You’re most likely fine. Your body is reacting to the change in your hormonal cycle, but it will not hurt you. You will probably experience a little more spotting, but don’t worry about it.
