i dont know… i’m trying to figure it out now though my mom is a Unitarian Universalist and there’s this class all about answering that question :P. but yeah i still don’t know yet.

Well I said “could” because some parents restrict you. You know, they slap you on the wrist.

Anti-pot commercials are commercials for pot. All they do is make people interested in pot, whereas they probably wouldn’t have known it before.

I’ve studied quite a few religions. I was fortunate enough not to be raised in a religious family. I think that makes it easier to choose a religion at same later point, because you don’t have a family that could disown you for making your own choice!

Still, I have yet to find a religion that I would commit 100% and probably never will.
Religion by its nature, means you doing things religiously.
It requires a high level of discipline if you want to follow it whole-heartedly.

So far in my travels I have extracted bits of different religions and added them to my philosophy.
But they are only beliefs, and do not constitute an actual religion!

Let’s say for the sake of ease, that everyone has 100 beliefs- just to use a manageable number.

Now, along comes this religion that shares 92 of your beliefs. Are you going to sacrifice your core beliefs, or change them- even just 8 of them- simply to fit under a label?

I say call yourself whatever you want, but if you don’t believe exactly what it tells you to, then know that you’re not really what you’re claiming to be. Equally, you and only you know what your “100 beliefs” are. You and only you know if you’re forsaking any of them.

I’m more into personal spirituality; just believing what you believe because you believe it. No labels, no ceremony and no dogma needed. Because no two people are going to agree 100% on everything, so logically, there should be as many religions as there are people.
