Why?

Why is it that when ur so used to being miserable, you get a taste of the most wonderful thing in the world only to have it taken from you?
Why do we torture ourselfs with emotions to begin with?
Why do we look forward to anything?
Why should we look forward to anything?
why do we even try to get ahead when it will only lead to where we started?
Why is it that no matter how much u fortify yourself, there is always some1 with a skeleton key?
Why don’t we just live as robots?emotionless, cold.

Welcome to life.

No one said it’d be fair.

Never trust in what people can do for you. As soon as you do they will let you down. Emotions are meant to be felt. Without them there would be no life. Life is a roller-coaster full of ups and downs. We are built to press on, not be stagnant. when where we arrive becomes comfortable, we need to move forward. Things will get better. Sometimes you just have to take what you get and make due with what you have.

It’s only moderately painful, and the good spots come regularly. If you look at your life, you’ll notice that most of your problems, you can fix just by changing your attitude.

i look at my life and realize i could have solved most problems by staying to myself and being emotionless.

The attitude that you have about your circumstances changes everything. If you have a good attitude about life it will get better. If you have a bad attitude it will get worse. That’s how life works.

It seems to me that you are having a problem with emotions. You can’t let your emotions get in the way of the decisions that you have to make. For instance, say a girl cheats on you. You have been with her for a while and after the first time you forgive her and go on because you love her. She sees this as you could care less and continues to cheat on you. You should then break it off with her even though you love her or have feelings for her. If you don’t it will get worse and she will be using you.

What type of problem are you struggling with anyway? Is it with people or circumstances?

Ah. That is pretty tough to deal with. Friends or family? Conflict with the two?

Stick with it.

All of the problems you listed, you can change.

1. Why is it that when ur so used to being miserable, you get a taste of the most wonderful thing in the world only to have it taken from you?
YOU decide to see it this way. If you continue, it will also continue.

2. Why do we torture ourselfs with emotions to begin with?
Emotions are part of life. Not torture. Stop letting emotions affect you so much. You control them, they don’t control you.

3. Why do we look forward to anything?
4. Why should we look forward to anything?
Why shouldn’t we? The anticipation, the ‘getting there’ is half the fun.

5. why do we even try to get ahead when it will only lead to where we started?
If this is the case, YOU’RE DOING IT WRONG.

6. Why is it that no matter how much u fortify yourself, there is always some1 with a skeleton key?
What?

7. Why don’t we just live as robots?emotionless, cold.
If that’s what you want, fine. But somehow, I think you’re just upset about something that happened, that was probably your fault in someway. Or at least, you think it is.

Ok. It wouldn’t happen to be anything like, say, your family disagrees with a girl that you love or anything? Or is it just loving your family in general?

Anon… I’m going to guess you’re young. Probably in elementary or middle school, from the style of your writing. You’re too young to be worrying about love. Work on your schoolwork.

Wow, nice guess. I had no idea who you were and I guessed you had a girl. Any way, what about your family is “urking your nerves”?

That would be “Irking me,”, not “urking my nerves”

How old are you, Anon? You’re obviously under 18.

So pretty much the family is pissing you off. Ok. Got a car? Can you drive? Anyway, you have to stay the course and just talk to the family. Are trying to follow the so called “rules” of the house? I got kicked out once cause I didn’t like one of the rules. Almost died in a car accident too. Now I am grown though in college, but at least try to follow a majority of the rules, though some I do not have to. If you are old enough, find a job that keeps you away from home. Save your money. Move out. That is what I am doing. It’s funny though. The older I get, the more I understand the motives behind what my parents do.

If you can, get a job, move out and be a good example to your little brother.

Well, for now just work on trying to follow the rules. Like I said before, make due with what you have. When you get your license, you can get the car, then the job, then what 2Hazel said

But you have to take it one step at a time.
