trust enough to share enough to grow at all because he might tell his primary partner everything….and are you mad to accept that….and is it second best?

Are you the person in the open relationship or is the person in the open relationship someone you’re seeing or thinking of seeing?

Well since there has been no reply, I’m just going to assume based on the way the qustion was worded that you are thinking of seeing someone in an open relationship??
Obviousely it just depends on the person and there are many variables, but since you are having doubts I’d say that you probably shouldn’t put yourself in that kind of situation.
If it was me I’d be thinking that if you actually mattered to them enough then you wouldn’t just be a ‘bit on the side’ (sorry if that seems harsh.)
Open relationships are fine for some if you are fine with being detatched enough but it really seems like you should find someone who will care about you enough to give you their whole self, not just the bit that’s left over when they’re not with someone else.
I’m sure you deserve and can find something better for you :)

tiger_ess5 thank you for that piece of advice. I am seeing someone who is in an open relationship and it was originally fine and I was quite proud of the paradigm shift that I was capable of….embracing the idea of polyamory and enjoying the time I did have and nt resenting the rest as it left time for me to do other things….but then when the hips are down and I feel I need some support during a tricky work and health patch, it all looks rather different :-(

I want you to think about this: three is the smallest number in which you can have a conspiracy.

Usually someone will be left out in the rain, in an open relationship. It may serve a purpose but never for long :(

People who engage in this kind of debauchery are really very dumb so your post really leads me to believe that your a fricken retard. Your mama must have dropped you on your head at birth.
