Well I didn’t see the point in saying anything else as it had already been said.
It was a way to show that I agreed and appreciated such a good response.
It’s not exactly the most meaningful response I know, but I don’t see what’s so wrong with saying it?
Have I offended you in some way with my inadequate response?
I didn’t realise it was thread worthy!

IMHO What it shows, is that a person took the time to read and reply, how could that not be appreciated - regardless of agreement or not.

If I’m reading through a long post and some quotes and says “well said”, then I’m more likely to read it to get the vibe of the post.

If someone says it to me, I appreciate it.
