life help: In every book there’s limbo - Help.com

In every book there’s limbo

On the edge of the page
It may be dipped in gold
And have a crooked name

The title of the chapter
Is indented at the edge
And light gleams off
Letter L’s, diagonal ledge

It gives you a pain to read it
Because it has no story
It might hurt worse to live it
Like a warrior earning glory

I’m cutting through the fabric
I’m slicing through the skin
I choose my words and actions
I’m waiting for my win
