Your kids will understand. Do something special instead. Re wrap things they haven’t seen in forever. Ask your mom to find some of your old toys. Make crafts with them. Kids don’t NEED toys for xmas. They’ll be just fine.

Yah I agree. It may not be the funnest Xmas ever but they should understand-they don’t need toys. Maybe volunteer your time (all 3 of you) on Xmas or Xmas Eve to a soup kitchen and help others instead. There’s much joy in helping others especially if your life is not going as planned at the moment. Chin up! New Year coming. Make some changes.

But i do not have a car and my family is not supportive at all.I just lost my step mother and one of my coworkers two months ago.Now i am about to lose my job because i have no way to get there.Right now i am just holding on to faith. Because i have nothing else.

Forget about Xmas. Your main concern is getting you transportation to a job. Friend, family, co worker, neighbor, taxi cab, bus, subway? If you are about to lose your job I would start working on your resume (I can help you in this department). I’m sorry you are in such a bind. You are really going to have to dig deep to get through this…insurance company not helping you after car was totalled??

I have started working on my resume and i have been looking for a job as well..I am use to working.I have been working since i was 13 years old.I am always looking to better myself for my family and myself. The car that i was in was a car that i was borrowing because the engine went out on my 02 volvo a couple of months ago.I did not have the $3400. to fix it so i was borrowing my sisters car until i could get my fix.Since the econmey is so bad she will loose almost $4000. What they gave her she can not replace her car.She has to start over with a note.
