Sound not working?

The sound on my laptop works fine, but when I try to play a video on the internet (any video) the sound won’t play. I’ve tried restarting my computer, but that didn’t work.

check the sound cable, or it may be on mute.

One of the cables attached to the box and screen is for sound. on mine it is light green and the place to plug it is light green too.

Check the mute button, try pressing it when your video is on and see if it switches off mute also. Good luck, I hope this helps.

I have laptop…so I the only cable that’s plugged into it is the power cord.
