plzz i need help and your opinion..

okay my school is havin a musical fun day on thursday and the teacher wants me to represent the flute and the guitar.. i had a hard time thinkin abt what to write and all i got is this.. so plz i need your help and opinion in it..

Dear fellow students, teachers and parents,
as holidays are approaching, our beloved school has decided to gather us all to have our outermost fun by giving its students the opportunity to impress us with their musical talents..
For a start, well be listening to some music from the heart, played on an instrument that shapes the mood, sings and weeps.. and is said to be fashioned by history and crafted by masters..by ‘Name’

Andres segovia once said: the guitar is a small orchestra, it is polyphonic, every string is a different colour, a different voice..
This instrument’s history & evolution is a mystery .. as no one knows where it dates back to.. is ancient Greek, North Africa or Middle East?
As for the last solo ‘Name’ will be playing it for us ..so lets all listen and enjoy…

Lol ok its a little choppy.
But your main problem is easily youre trying too hard so it sounds unnatural.
its not bad just maybe write the sort of thign youd say if you were just to make it up on the spot and thatll give you an easier idea of how the flow should be.
for example
“our beloved school has decided to gather us all to have our outermost fun by giving…”
‘beloved’ might be pushing it a little without sounding corny :P
and maybe yu meant “utmost” instead of “outermost”
People want to hear a student. so speak like one .
Thats not to say dumb down your vocabulary but just speak in a more natural way

The instruments speak for themselves. Just present them in the simplest way. Too much complexity takes away from the pleasure of listening as well as playing.

Help me with: For the music inclined…Do you know of any artists, other than the Beatles,who record in Mixolydian Mode?
