please help me help myself.

i have been overwhelmed with life lately. i am a single mom with nothing left, last week my car was stolen and my house was robbed. weird coincidence? thats what i though. my car was stolen by an ex roommate and he ended up in jail and car impounded. he was taking my car to sell some upholsty that i had invested all my savings in 600.00. so not only did he take my car without asking (with intentions of actually helping me) but i lost my investment too. i didn’t know he was trying to help me at the time. anyways while i had no car, someone broke in to my house and took everything i had, even the washer and dryer that belonged to my landlord. he had just put the new washer and dryer in the house 2 months before this. i came home to an empty ransacked house. my kids are devistated and still cry to go home, but there is no way i feel safe enough to go back. i was already having a hard time and this hit me. i dont know where to get help and i wish i could wake up and all this be just a dream. i dont know what to do ive called united services and they have no funds, and every church and crisis center and public help places have told me the same or similar thing. i havent been able to get any help and i feel helpless when my kids not only lose eveything they owned and loved. my daughters kitten is also missing that she got for her 9th birthday a month ago. what does someone do when put in this situation. i now have 2 kids, no car no place to live, currently living with my elderly grandparents in a very small house, that need help themselves, no clothes, no identification or anything to get help, no money and a little bit of faith. i managed to get some clothes in the jumbled mess but my son needs some pants for school, and i could only find coats for them and not myself. is there anyone who can help me out there. the story gets worse but im sure every one has one and dont want to be overwhelmed with another so i will stop there, just hope there is someone out there who can find my story and offer advice or anything that can help me help myself. i thank you for reading this and god bless you this holiday season.

Check around to see if there is anyone in your grandparents’ neighborhood who needs household help. Childcare work is almost always available. If there are elderly people living nearby, they may need help with daily chores so they can stay in their homes. Often, they are afraid to advertise for helpers, but will gladly pay someone who offers. Your children may even be able to help with pet care, under your supervision, of course.
I know you may feel desperate, but there is always a way to pull yourself out of a bad situation if you are young and capable of working hard.
