Cover it with a box and put a “Heat tape” inside the box. If you don’t want to buy a heat tape then a light bulb might do depending on how cold it is where you live.

We have built a small shed around it, we plan to insulate but I don’t know if that’ll be enough…I thought about the heat tape but wasn’t sure if it would work..it’s good to have someone else with the same Idea… I might try both the heat tape and a light bulb.

If your power ever goes out during the winter then it is good to have a backup system. How cold is it where you live?

we have a problem right now our well pump is frozen and we have no water. The pump man came and wraped it up with towels and tape and he told us to insulate and build a box around it what could i do to get water coming into the house
