I’ve done Landmark - the 1st course is good but you can do the same with a TA book

Stay away from Landmark Education. I have been involved with them for 8.5 years and have done all their courses. I am now running away from them.

Their intention is to completely strip you down so that you are unable to think for yourself, have any of your own opinions, emotions or experiences in life. They will tell you that your life is empty and meaningless and that everything that happens in your life is your fault. That your not human but a machine. But if you blindly follow and do what they say they can make you better! Don’t dare argue with them or question them, or have a different opinion to them, that is not acceptable and you will be fiercely brought down. They belive they are supreme.

They believe they can say whatever they choose to you, and 99.99% of the time it is degrading, demoralising & insulting. But that is their plan to completely strip you down and then rebuild you according to their specifications.

They insist that Landmark is the first and only priority in your life, so Landmark must come first before yourself, your family, your work. If you work, life, family is lost in the process whilst you get completely sucked in, that’s brilliant to them, as they then have complete control and domination over you.

They will impose huge pressure on you to get all your work colleagues, family, friends enrolled into doing their courses. They will harass you constantly and its almost impossible to shake them.

Their latest and newest course is stupid and another attempt at completely taking total control and domination over you. We were told that we machines with a brain of a reptile, so therefore we operated at the level of a reptile or cockroach, yes we were told we were no better than a cockroach. That we were not in control of our machine (body) that ‘IT’ was controlling us. ‘IT’ being some pattern entity within us that we are a slave to.

They have their own language that they bamboozle you with such as; enter the realm of self & so you can get gotten & IT & strong suits, bla bla bla..

I now realise that the people that have also been involved with them for years are so totally dysfunctional and can now not doing anything without Landmark telling them what they should say, think & feel. These people including myself and actually gone backwards over the years and are now really screwed up. Marriages have been destroyed, careers have been destroyed, friendships have been broken. But that’s the way Landmark want it to be so you keep going back to them and become totally dependant on them.

The die hards that stick with Landmark are unable to have a conversation unless they are crapping on about Landmark.

Landmark Education is a cult.

Landmark Education is destructive and negative.

A brief word. I attended a LE course this weekend. I found it disturbing. I tried to be open minded and as the course progressed I became increasingly concerned. Watching grown men weeping is not my thing. After awhile my main concern was that I would “pop”. I was highly sceptical of the likely benefits and very concerned of the effects of me having no control. I left on the 3rd day, I am still in a state of shock and have grave concerns for those who remained, many of whom were fragile. LE at the very best is worrying and given what I have found about it potentially very dangerous.

By the way my relationship with my mother is cool, according LE I should have major issues that need immediate and deep theapy and greater connectivity. RUBBISH!
