have you ever just sat back and watched your world fall apart around you?

nothing you do can stop it, it hurts. but the easiest thing is to just let the pieces lay.
Maybe after everything has stopped spinning you can pick them back up.
but secretly, you know nothing is gonna fit the same.
the pieces of yourself, your heart all lay in ruins, and glue is of no use to you.
it hurts to bad to leave them there, so maybe you can pick them up, hide them in a wooden box for protection, and when you need them you can pull them out. because there is no way that you will keep your heart upon your sleeve anymore. theres no way that you will know whats in store, so its easier to hide your heart from the world.
the world that has fallen apart around you.

actually this was just a rant. i write you can check out my other stuff, but this was just my thoughts onto paper. my world, currently, is falling apart. i have one stability and thank god i have him. if i didnt i dunno what id do… but yea thanks for your opinion on it =]

i mean maybe. i believe that everything is always changing. including people. we are constantly growing and learning. I maybe the same person physically, but mentally after this i am not. I have learned something from this, and this specific instance, i have been hurt by it. I still have myself, yes, but at times yourself isnt enough. you have to have someone that understands you, someone that can pick up your pieces when they fall outta the box. luckily, i have that. my fear though is that at somepoint, i might not.

Yes, you are right. We continue to change and grow, and I really do believe that the things that challenge us really do make us stronger in the end. I guess my point is that ultimately, we have to rely on ourselves and our ability to stand up against the bad things that come our way. But part of that is cultivating relationships with those who can help us “pick up the pieces,” as you wrote (so well, I might add!). Please let us know or give me a shout if you want to talk about the specifics of what happened. The insight of others (in addition to the person you’re leaning on now) might be helpful!
