life help: How do I focus on my studies and work at night? - Help.com

How do I focus on my studies and work at night?

I am thinking of quitting my job now but I will have to struggle for a living but if I stick to my job, I will have to struggle to study!

I’m having a really hard time! Next year will be tougher because it’s my final year and I have this final year project going on and stuff.. TIRED!!

I’ve been living like this for 2 years now and I am very very tired!!

I’m losing my motivation to keep up my good grades.

Any advice? Thanks a lot

I’m from Malaysia so it’s always hot and humid. There’s no summer and I am currently working in a newspaper company that operates every day of the week. I only get one day off every week and that is not enough for me. I only gets to sleep 5 hours a day tops.

I’m thankful for the good luck I have. My boss really sees that I am struggling but that’s the least he can do. I still have to work for a living

Caffeine. Take cold showers to wake yourself up. Do a morning exercize routine to really get your heart going. These things will help. Another four years! I am impressed because school is very hard for me.

Maybe you can take a personal day or sick day once in a while to catch up on sleep.

thanks 2Hazel. I will have to really schedule my time. I’m soooooo tired of it!! I just want to live a life like all my friends does where their parents support their studies and living. I guess that’s what life is all about. I’m too young to be burdened like this!!! :(

I’m sorry for all this craps but I needed to get it out. My friends wouldn’t understand so there’s no point of talking to them.

It’s not the lectures, its the assignment. I can deal with last minute revision. Too many assignments. I didn’t turn in 4 assignments in my last semester. haha

My suggestion is to write out a schedule for your day. Start with when you wake up in the morning. Sometimes people need to make a plan a day or two ahead of time. Especially if you are a very intelligent, but hyper person.Concentration on your priorities is the key. You have to remind yourself every day about your goals and prioties. You may have a tendicy to drift into soap opera mode.Thursday child-has far to go. It takes time when no one tells you what you need to do when you are growing up. Women need to be in more control of their self.

To make a better living? I will still finish my studies and after that I will try my luck in one of this singing reality tv show. :D

Then, I want to go abroad if I can save enough money. To see the world. And then continue on my studies!

You must start livng in reality. I have raised three children with total parental love of them- being safe and secure in their environment. It wasn’t easy because i am an easy person, but I love a challenge and I wanted to be right by God. and I overcame it because I loved them more then anyone. You must step up and say you will make your life the life you want it to be because no one else will do it for you. GOD BLESS YOU! MAY YOU GET WHAT YOU WORK FOR. GOD HELPS THOSE WHO HELPS THEMSEVES..LIVE IN REALITY!

Well, that will never be possible because I am not an American citizen! And never even been there. That’s where I wanted to go after my diploma. For a month maybe. if only I can get the visa!
