If it isn’t swollen it probably isn’t broken, but if it’s swollen a little it might be. I broke my fingers twice before, both time they were small fractures so there wasn’t a lot of swelling.

You might want to go to the doctor just to be safe.

Ice will help with the pain and take tylenol or motrin if need be. Also as Matt said, see your Dr. to be sure. Hope it gets better soon :)

Hello
Since you ve put ice on those fingers, that is what keeps the swelling down. And it hurts less when your fingers are slighly bent, because its their natural posture when relaxed. Try it with your other fingers. If you can move them and that their isn t any change of colors they may be sprain…..sorry i m frenchy here on some words…lolll If you try to pinch a little your nail on the hurt finger, you should have a return of blood flow normal in your finger. Its called the refill test. You sqeeze the nail a couple seconds and when you unsqeeze it ll be white and immediatly return to pinkish. Try it! If so You will probably be able to wait till tomorrow and seek medical advice.

You probably just sprained it, my mom used to do that playing football all the time. When you go to the doctor (which you should), they’ll just tape them to splints and you’ll have to wear them for a couple weeks.

Can you move back and forward and curl it all of the way in and out? If so, it is not broken.
