Hi, My friend bought a Toshiba labtop today for 699

dollars and someone told her she was getting ripped off so now she’s having a bunch of panic attacks and i have no idea how to help her. Advice please or could some one tell me if it was worth it. It has a 15.4 inch screen 2 GB ram 160 HD and Dual Core ,Wi Fi, USB,and 2 speakers

Go to all the online retailers, such as Best buy, Circuit City, see if you can find the retail prices,that may help.

How much did you pay for yours Laina ? I know at times these stores mark up the price, then mark it lower, to make you think you’ve got a good deal, Ive been had like that before, it pays to do your homework before buying I reckon……..ahh ok Laina, yes I noticed some there were over a thousand bucks ewwwy :O

I don’t think that is a rip off at all. It’s about the right price. I hate it when know it alls say stuff like that! It gets you all paranoid.

yep saw it after Id began typing :P Do you like it Laina, hub is wanting to buy me one for Christmas this year, but I haven’t got clue what to look for lol

O thanks , Cause she’s been calling me every hour now asking me if i think it’s a rip off and i didn’t know what to tell her. But hers didn’t have Tax it was just 699 even.

Wow, now I’m totally jealous. Tax adds like a hundred bucks to the price.

Sasha: It’s good, has a slight tendendency to overheat, but as long as I don’t like put it on my bed for a long time, it’s okay. Mine came with a built-in webcam and it can burn CDs and I got a whole bunch of other goodies, lol.
