I’m getting some surgery in a week but then I can’t drive my son to school for a week then his vacation starts, so how do you suggest I get him to school and back for that week?

Any school friends whose parents may help out ?

Maybe, I will ask them on monday. my neightbors love life is getting really loud, problem number two.

If you talk to the school would he be able to go on the bus for a week ?

they have no bus, and it’s a half hour drive. I was thinking of asking my parents to visit but that is extremely problematic. I am going to ask anyway though.

Ok ask the neighbors to take him to school, give you a couple of hours peace, and allow them to cool off for a bit lol

Or another idea is call the school and ask for a list of the parents with addresses in your area, set something up with a parent of a child in your area.

If only, they only go wild at night.

Pay part of the fuel or something in exchange for the ride

Its all you can do really, Id ask some of the Parents first, people will usually help out in an Emergency :-)……..yep thats a good idea barely, talk to the school Im sure they’ll try to help you.

They are probably not in my neighborhood, but it doesn’t hurt to ask.

As for the neighbors do you rent ?

Just a note: The school has to help out, it’s a requirement for your child to be in class.

Have you spoken to them ? if you could go there and ask in a “polite” fashion, and tell them you have a young son, they may oblige.

Duct tape works very well they say :-)

Another thought is if you use a babysitter at times, can you call them to help out and pay a few bucks for the added help?

Earplugs are good, failing that one of those little machines that play sound noises, Ive got one they are really good at masking sounds from the outside.

Put up another layer of drywall might help.

My son is such a good sleeper, but I feel annoyed about it. I think it keeps me awake.I used to do the same thing to my former housemate so karma.

I’m wondering do they realize how thin the walls are ? do you make much noise so that they realize just how thin those walls are, you know, hammer some nails, play some music loud maybe its just that they don’t realize lol

I don’t know what is going through their minds. They are the loudest lovers, they never stop making noise. They used to have loud parties too and a really barky dog that they would lock out of the house to bark alot. Sheesh. They get mad easily too.

Or you could make your own noise, have your own party, much more fun, lol..

Its inconsiderate I think, I used to make the effort to be quiet when I lived in apartments.

I don’t want to complain, they will have a few more kids and hopefully find each other less attractive. My husband wouldn’t like that sound machine idea but I would.
