HELP ME

Me and my ex girlfriend broke up 7 months ago. What is the best way to finally get over her? I miss her so much and do not know what to do about my feelings. I keep having dreams about her. None of them are memories of the relationship. I do not know if these are views of the future of if it’s just my mind playing tricks. I hate to have any type of false hope. Please give me some ideas….

Its normal to dream about a person that is always on your mind. The best way to get over it is to get out and do stuff. Go hang out with your friends, check out other girls, get into something you normally wouldn’t be into, and that doesn’t remind you of her. I don’t know how old you are, so I don’t really know what to suggest. Good Luck! There are plenty of fish in the sea, you know, and all that good cliche stuff.

I’m 21.

I’ve tried to do different things with friends and other girls but it still doesn’t make me forget

It takes everyone different amounts of time to get over past loves. It could take you a year, or even 2. That’s human. I’m 21 as well, I still get freaked out if I see my ex-boyfriend, and we broke up when I was 17! So I guess what I’m saying is you’ll never “forget” her, but you will get over her….eventually (:
