Buying an iPod & stuff!

Hey guys! So I just got a new job and I’ve gotten paid twice already and now have over $400! YAY! Ok. Now, since my old Nano iPod was stolen last December and my parents refuse to buy me another one, I’m gonna buy one myself! YAY! The thing is, I’m not sure which to buy. I originally wanted the new iPod Nano. They’re very colorful and funky. I’m really just looking for a small iPod like that. But then I saw the iPod Touch and went crazy! It’s got awesome games, and the INTERNET (which I’m addicted to) which made me change my mind and decide that I wanted that. But after thinking it through, I’m not so sure now. Which one should I get? I love the small, simple, chic iPod Nano which has colors, but I love the features in the iPod Touch… So, help? Can someone list some pros and cons of both for me or something? I’m really confused now as to which would be best for me. Thanks guys.
(ps. if i get the iPod Touch, which size: 8GB for $230 or 16GB for almost $300?! would i rly need all that memory?)

I would say go for the Nano. iPod touches are stupid and unnecessary, however cool they may seem.
Also- You have to BUY the games on the iTouch, and they really aren’t that great, in my opinion.
I think the best thing to help you make the decision is to go to the Mac store and try both of them out, see which one feels more comfortable to handle, stuff like that.

Why are you buying a iPod to begin with? Is it to show off to your friends (e.g. fashion statement and sense of belonging)? Is it to play your music? Is it to play games when you are bored and don’t want to study? Only you can answer these questions. If its a status symbol that you seek, consider buying another nano but buy a refurbished one to save money.

I love music so I need an iPod, that’s why. It’s that simple. But since I’m, like, addicted to the internet I thought the Touch would be a good idea. But I don’t know.

ipod touch does not have internet everywhere, only in wifi spots, which is anywhere a wireless laptop could connect, so i find it not fitting for me personally.
I would go with the touch, though because it has such a beautiful wide screen.
i use my Iphone for my music, and i love it’s wide screen functions

wait, what do you mean “anywhere a wireless laptop could connect”? Do you mean I’d have to plug my Touch into a connection? Could I use it in school? At the park? In the mall?

no, hence the term “wireless”
it connects to wireless internet.
wifi hotspots.
the internet would probably not work in school b/c the connections are probably locked
most malls have free wifi
I doubt the park would have any strong internet/any at all
