This is going to sound really weird, but my grandmother swears I used to be fat.

She raised me from the time I was 13-18. I have always been very small. I and petite and I only weight 110 pounds now. This is the most I have every weighed and I’m skinny now. She swears I used to be fat. She always says, “you look really good. Remember that one time when you were real big?” . I have pictures and everything. Why is she saying this? Also, my uncle says it too, but he is a crazy alcoholic.

Does she have an eating disorder? Maybe she just though you were fat because of her own issues with weight.

Help me with: I have a chance to get my dream job but don’t know how to tell my current employers that I may be leaving.

This is very possible b/c she used to tell me to watch out eating so much and be careful eating sweets and such. She is very focused on her looks over anything else.

Have you asked her to please stop bringing it up and to keep her opinions about your weight to herself (respectfully, of course)? I personally would get sick of hearing that really fast.
