I don’t want to be a drama queen anymore, but it’s hard…

Any of my friends from school would be the first to clarify that I’m a drama queen. My college friends just think I’m one when it comes to guys. My last boyfriend was melodramatic also, and so our relationship was all about the drama. I finally let him go, but he keeps trying to contact me months later, and I find myself wanting to text him, just for the drama. I don’t want him back, in the end he was quite horrible to me. I don’t want to be like this, it feels like I’m trying to overcome an addiction. Can anyone help?

I understand. The roller coaster relationships can be hard to get away from. Try to resist the urge!
