my birthday’s next month, and i was making a pending birthday party list.

i really want to invite my best friend and another good friend of mine, but neither of them speak to each other anymore- they got into a huge fight a few months ago that had their families involved. back in september i threw a surprise party for one of my friends and they both came… but it ended badly between them, and they made it really uneasy for me. i don’t want this at my birthday party, but i want them both there. should i not have the party at all, or deal with it or what?

You’re between a rock and a hard place! You should speak to them directly and tell them that you love them both and that you will invite both of them to the party but if they start fighting you will ask them to both leave. So for the sake of your birthday “can we all just get along?”

iknow how you feel… almost everyone i know has 2 best friends who hate each other…. you can try some tough loving…. tell them if they wont behave and be nice to each other they wont be invited at all…. if you dont think thats helpful then maby you could have a party for all your friends and then so somthing seprately with each of them
