I do not have a basic version of safari.

Am running OS 10.4.11/ When I tried to DL Safari 3.2.1 I found it was just an update and it would not mount on my computer. How/where do I get a basic safari which I can install? Then I can DL
the 3.2.1 update. Can you help? I have been on the web for several hours and cannot find a basic install of safari.

Thank you so much

Isn’t your safari a built-in browser? Search your system help - it should work fine.

Thanks for your response. Let me explain further. I was having problems with the safari installed on my Mac. When I saw there was a NEW safari, 3.2.1, I trashed my existing safari — which I now realize was a mistake. Then when I got to the apple site, I saw it was AN UPDATE! When I downloaded it and it was supposed to install on my “hard drive” nothing appeared anywhere on the computer. I tried a second DL –same outcome.

I then tried numerous sites trying to find a full version (not an update) of safari which I could then upgrade to 3.2.1. No success.

Safari was my principal browser and I am at a loss of how to get it reinstalled so I could then upgrade it to 3.2.1.

I would sincerely appreciate any help you could give –really!

Stan
