Does Anyone know the allusion in this poem?

?

To Daffodils By Robert herrick

Fair Daffodils, we weep to see
You haste away so soon;
As yet the early-rising sun
Has not attain’d his noon.
Stay, stay,
Until the hasting day
Has run
But to the even-song;
And, having pray’d together, we
Will go with you along.

We have short time to stay, as you,
We have as short a spring;
As quick a growth to meet decay,
As you, or anything.
We die
As your hours do, and dry
Away,
Like to the summer’s rain;
Or as the pearls of morning’s dew,
Ne’er to be found again.

(i cxant tell when you say english wether you mean the language or the country)

I think it means something like a huge monument…to be specific…one of the wonders of the world. How over time it “decays” and over time…it is lost in time forever.

Nawwww. Lol. I dont see how it relates to macbeth.the only possable relation is a religous aspect as daffodils only appear a few days during “the death of christ”. maybe something to do with the anti-christ that witches believe in?

The only thing I can see is shakespeare and his famous obsession over aging.
